          • Da suntem sub zapezi de la revelion incoa'. Totul e paralizat pe aici, astazi a fost inchis aeroportul iarasi dupa ce si miercuri a fost inchis pt mai bine de 5 ore. Acum ninge in continuare si maine ma pregatesc sa ma duc la derdelus

                      I've seen a lot of DC2s over my 10 years of ownership (I own two), but IMO this is an extremely special car - one of a kind and certainly one of the most hardcore, track-oriented DC2s for sale anywhere!

                      With much regret I need to sell this car. I bought it from Daaaan100 in April 2008 and it hasn't skipped a beat in the interim. Only selling as I'm moving abroad and sadly am not allowed to take it with me due to local import laws!

                      1998 German ITR - comes with all certificates of UK conformity and SVA. Fully legal and straight MOT pass.

                      Approx 28K miles and shows - the bodywork and underside are in excellent condition.

                      It's done about 5K miles since purchase and had the oil changed within the last 2K miles. I've also just changed most of the rose-joints to Powerflex poly bushes to make it easier for road driving.

                      Either it's a great hardcore road/track car for someone or also a direct entry into various race series anywhere in Europe.

                      Left hand drive car so also good for European drivers - I live near Glasgow Airport so easy for someone to fly in and drive home :P

                      It was imported from Germany and sent to GR Motorsport to be built in what I believe is roughly the specification of their class-winning BTCC "Super Production" spec racecars they were running at the time.

                      Unless specified, all modifications are FIA approved.

                      Rough list is:

                      Body and chassis
                      Body fully seam welded
                      Welded in "Custom Cages" roll cage extending onto suspension turrets at the front, unlike most cheaper cages
                      AP Racing track-spec front brake callipers & bell-housings
                      AP Racing brake-bias control in passenger cabin
                      Rebuilt close-ratio gearbox that tops out around 128MPH in 5th gear
                      ABS removed

                      Speeds in gear roughly - 1st 50MPH, 2nd 65, 3rd 80, 4th 95, 5th 128

                      Fully synchro on 1st so you can shift into it at any speed unlike in a normal road car - brilliant being able to use it on tighter corners.

                      OMEX shift light and adustable rev-limiter
                      Sparco steering wheel on removeable wheel boss
                      Two sets of raceline 15" wheels - one set with road tyres, one with Dunlop slicks
                      Corbeau "Pro Series" seats and Sabelt 6-point harnesses (harnesses expired in 2009)
                      Bilstein height-adjustable suspension with Eibach springs
                      Camber adjustable at every corner as you would expect for such a serious car

                      Engine and fuelling
                      Engine appears to be standard - we've never opened it up, but if anything might have been done it would be uprated valve springs for the higher rev limit of the Mugen ECU and a baffled sump. I will include a set of Eibach Racing Valve Springs that are virtually brand new in case you want to fit them.
                      Custom 4-2-1 manifold
                      Custom cat-back exhaust
                      Cat - passes UK emmisions test, exhaust is not much louder than OEM but sounds absolutely fantastic inside the car
                      Dry-break fuel system with fillers on each side of tthe car. Retains "normal" petrol filler cap for use on the road
                      Mocal oil cooler
                      Adjustable fuel pressure regulator

                      Comes with a UK ECU (with immobiliser) and also the rare and aggressively timed Mugen N1 ECU - straightforward to change when required.

                      Currently has AP Racing disks and Pagid RS14 Black pads - the disks and pads have less than 2000 miles on them.

                      Raceline wheels painted gloss-black with Falken track-biased road tyres in 195/50/15. It comes complete with a spare set of gloss-black raceline spare wheels with useable Dunlop slick tyres as well.

                      Price is £10000 ONO.

                      For an extra £200 I will have the suspension geometry fully setup again by a professional outfit in Glasgow.
