o sig data a emis pretentii la titlu!in rest a fost format cu mentalitate de locotenent si din pacate de asta nu prea "stie" sa castige!
in rest are ff multa experienta!masina lui avea aceleasi setari ca a lui shumi!ross b. era ing de cursa pt amandoi asa ca nu prea avea cum sa nu invete!!!

Deocamdata e foarte, foarte mic, atat de mic incat eu nici nu il vad. In prima runda de antrenamente libere de azi JB a iesit pe 14 si RB pe 15, iar in a doua runda (care inca nu s-a terminat cand scriu asta), JB e pe 17 si RB e pe 18.

Pentru ca nu am ce comenta despre prestatia echipei Honda, nu pot decat sa amintesc despre prestatia lamentabila si tragi-comica a celor doi comentatori de pe TVR (adica aia pe care ii platim noi din buzunar). La un moment dat, Barichello incearca sa il depaseasca pe Coulthart intr-o curba, dar masina ii fuge de spate si nu reuseste. Ma rog, scena de vreo 4-5 secunde, filmate de sus si date in reluare. Unul dintre perusi o tot tinea cu voiosie cum ca "Heidfeld se chinuie sa il depaseasca pe Coulthart". Cand si-a dat seama de confuzie, a dat s-o dreaga: "Echipamentele lor seamana". Ce dreaq de echipament seamana? Chilotii? Sosetele? Ochelarii? Intamplator, Honda are singura masina cu verde din F1, si iese in evidenta. Nu poate exista nici o confuzie intre Honda si BMW. Nici daca ai tras la masea serios inainte de emisiune si tot nu poti sa faci o asemenea confuzie. Parerea mea... artyman:

de ce sa plece de la renault la honda cand renault a castigat dublu punctelor fata de honda anul asta !? de ce lar lua honda pentru 1 an si dupa aceea sa ramana fara el? pentru ca daca il dau afara pe rubens, nu cred ca mai ajunge vreodata la honda pentru ca nu siar mai dorii sa vina sa faca pe maimutoiu ! daca in 2009 performantele nu sunt pe masura? poti ramane fara pilot oricand ! deci sunt multe variabile in joc si aproape ca bag mana in foc , ALONSO NU VA VENII LA HONDA !

But after thinking calmly about it, I think I might have understood at least what Brawn and Fry -are- thinking.

I don't know how many of you are in the I/T industry and how many experienced the huge hooh-hah that was the Y2K 'cutover'. Basically when 1999 turned over to 2000, there were lots of scare stories and disaster scenarios about how the fact that programmers liked to use two digits to represent a year (ditching the '19' in front) will lead to disaster as 2000 becomes interpreted as 1900. And so forth.

Basically the keyword for tackling the Y2K problem, at least here in Asia, was the CONsultant. So EVERYBODY hired Y2K consultants. Basically the consultant would come in and they will ask multiple questions. And the whole IT department would scramble to make sure all the questions are covered/answered/addressed, etc. Who really thinks that the consultant would do a complete job ? I asked several of my customers, data-center managers, even CIO. NONE of them are sure that the consultant they hired really knows his/her job. BUT the issue is SHOULD the Y2K cutover really turn into a disaster, their asses are covered. Because they have already spared no expense and hired the best consultant their organisation budget allowed them to.

What struck me was Nick Fry's statement "my job is to build a winning team". So his job is on the line because Honda really sucks and they have sucked for so many years. So what he is doing is he hires the best names Honda's budget will allow him to get. Getting Brawn for team principal is one part of the jigsaw. As for the driver's side. Be calm, objective and honest. In the F1 grid now, Alonso DO represent the MOST QUALIFIED and BEST driver on the grid. Other than Raikkonen, he is the only one who has won the world championship. And he IS two times world champion whereas Raikkonen is only one. So if Fry really wants to make sure his ass is covered should Honda continue to suck for the next few years (and that's when the axe will definitely come down), he tries his best to hire Alonso. If he is successful, he can say that he already did his job and he got ALL the best people he can find and if Honda still fails, it's not because of him.

Yes, it makes plenty of sense now. Not that I'd agree that it's the best choice but it's the smartest one for sure.
