              Nu, nu e nici o suparare! In forma tabelara nu iesea deloc bine, de aceea am am preferat forma mai simpla. Daca vreodata va fi nevoie de dovada, tabelul se gaseste in AutoBild nr. 51/51 pagina 27!

              Du-te te rog la postul Luminitei si da-ti o parere obiectiva acolo!!!

                  s-au publicat datele cu vanzarile auto pe 2005 in USA:

                  Honda a avut un an bun vanzarile total ajungand la 1482 mii de vehicule in crestere de aprox 5% fata de anul precedent. Toyota si Nissan au crescut insa mai mult (aprox 10% fiecare; 2260 mii vehicule vandute pentru Toyota si 1076 mii pentru Nissan). Ford a scazut 5% pana la 3154 mii vehicule, GM de asemenea in scadere de 4% pana la 4454 mii in timp ce DaimlerChrysler a avut primul an de crestere dupa ani de scadere cu aprox. 5% pana la 2529 mii masini. Grupul Hyundai a crescut si anul acesta cu aprox 10% pana la 731mii.

                  pe segmente:

                  compact:

                  1) Civic isi pastreaza suprematia vanzand 308500 buc. cu 700 mai putine decat in 2004. Vanzarile la inceputul anului au fost relativ slabe ( la un moment dat Corolla avea chiar un mic avantaj) dar in ultimele 3-4 luni noul Civic a recuperat masiv. principalii competitori au fost din nou:

                  2) Corolla 232000 - in scadere de 3%; dar daca adaugam si vanzarile de Matrix si a geamanului Vibe (vandut sub marca GM Pontiac) care au totalizat 174000 buc per total Corolla si derivatele s-au vandut mai bine decat anul trecut si au depasit cu mult Civicul. Toyota este acum liderul de piata si in segmentul compact. Noua Corolla este anuntata pentru toamna aceasta.

                  3) Cobalt/Cavalier 232000 in crestere de 15% (a avut loc schimbul de generatie anticul Cavalier facand loc noului Cobalt) - Cobalt fiind acum echivalentul american al AstreiH; daca in anii trecuti vanzarile GM in segment depaseau cu putin pe cele ale Civic, in 2005 adunand si cele 101000buc ale Saturn Ion si cele 25000 ale Pontiac Sunfire GM se mentine peste Honda.

                  Chevrolet a lansat si el un sportwagon in linia Toyota Matrix/PT Cruiser numit HHR care a vandut deja 41000buc. este bazat pe aceeasi platforma delta ca si AstraH.

                  4) Focus 185000 - in scadere 10%;

                  5) Chrysler PT Cruiser inca in crestere de 15% ( lansat in 2001 ca si precedenta generatie a Civic) 133700buc. Desi bazat pe platforma medie a Sebring/Stratus primul sportwagon este incadrat de cei mai multi la clasa compact.

                  6) Jetta/Golf 120000 - in crestere 3 procente ( printr-o scadere de 40% a vanzarilor Golf4 si o crestere de 11% a Jetta ajutate de introducerea noii Jetta5). Jetta5 plasata deja in marja de pret a clasei medii ar putea chiar sa fie scoasa din segment fiind intr-o clasa proprie. O sa fie interesant de vazut daca VW poate convinge cu abordarea sa de near-premium pe americani asa cum pare ca inca ii convinge pe europeni ( Golf este si in 2005 cel mai popular model european).

                  7) Nissan Sentra (sora la fel de stearsa a Almerei europene) 119000 -in crestere de 10% desi este un model invechit lansat in 2000. Viitoarea Sentra anuntata pentru anul viitor va fi bazata pe o platforma comuna cu viitorul Megane3.

                  8 ) Hyundai Elantra 116000 ( inca in crestere de 1% desi modelul actual este introdus odata cu generatia preecedenta a Civic in 2001).

                  9) Batranul Dodge Neon a reusit sa se mentina la 113500buc. DCX a oprit deja productia acestui model ( vor mai trage sa vanda stocurile prob cateva luni ) se pare ca va renunta la formatul sedan/coupe si planuieste sa introduca ceva in subsegmentul compact sportwagon sub numele de Caliber ( probabil va fi o variatiune a PT Cruiser).

                  10) Mazda3 97000buc. dar in crestere de peste 20%, ramane probabil cea mai "fun to drive" compacta pe piata americana. =D>

                  este de remarcat succesul din ce in ce mai mare al sportwagon-urilor care pot fi deja considerate un subsegment de sine statator. acestea ofera spatiul interior al unui monovolum cu un design intre break si SUV. Asa ceva cred ca ar fi foarte potrivit si pentru Europa ( de fapt Golf Plus ar putea fi considerat in aceasta clasa). Honda trebuie sa se gandeasca serios la asa ceva atat pentru piata americana cat si pentru cele europeana si japoneza.

                  voi reveni cu restul claselor in care Honda are oferte pe piata americana.

                    liderul in clasa ramane al 4 lea an consecutiv Toyota Camry ( dupa ce Accord american a fost nr. 1 in 2001) cu 431700buc vandute si inca in crestere cu 1% in penultimul an pe piata al acestei generatii. datorita scaderii usoare a vanzarilor de full size pick-up trucks Camry a reusit sa avanseze in Nameplate top pe locul 3 in fata Dodge Ram.

                    2) Accord american ramane pe pozitia a a 2-a desi in scadere de 5% fata de anul precedent cu 369300buc. Desi (pana la lansarea noului Passat) cotata de majoritatea presei auto ca cea mai buna oferta din segment, vanzarile au avut putin de suferit din cauza politicii de preturi mai rigide a Honda. Noul model va debuta anul viitor cateva luni dupa arhi-rivala sa Camry.

                    3) Nissan Altima a continuat sa creasca cu 8% pana la 253400buc.

                    4) Ford Taurus in scadere dramatica de 15% in ultimul an pe piata a ajuns la 216000buc. Impreuna cu sora Mercury Sable Ford a vandut 246000 sedane medii cazand pe locul 5 intr-un segment copios dominat de ei cu 10-15 ani in urma. Insa in nov. tocmai a debutat noul duet Ford Fusion/Mercury Milan ( a nu se confunda Fusion american cu mini SUV-ul european cu acelasi nume) care va inlocui Taurus-ul. Bazat pe platforma Mazda6 si oferind aceleasi motorizari acesta va urma in traditia Mondeo de manevrabilitate excelenta si va oferi si dimensiunile mai generoase cautate de cumparatorii americani.

                    5) Chevrolet Malibu in crestere 12% pana la 203500buc. vara americana a Vectrei impreuna cu surorile sale Pontiac G6 ( un model cu pretentii sportive si un design reusit care, desi promovat din greu inclusiv in emisiunile Oprah, nu are succesul scontat) si Saturn L confera GM pozitia nr. 3 in acest segment cu un total de 333500 buc.

                    6) duetul Chrysler Sebring/Dodge Stratus isi arata varsta: in scadere 6% pana la 189.800buc.

                    7) Hyundai Sonata in crestere de aproape 20% pana la 130300buc. Noua Sonata ( fabricata in Alabama) lansata in septembrie a reusit in ultimele cateva luni vanzari duble fata de cele inregistrate de predecesoarea sa in aceeasi perioada a anului trecut.

                    8 ) Subaru Legacy in scadere de 1% fata de anul trecut in ciuda ofertei senzationale de 0-100km/h in 5.9 sec la numai 26000$ (pentru varianta GT cu motorul 2.5T cu 250CP).

                    9) Mazda6 e stagnanta la 72000buc. Desi o drivers-car ca si Legacy plateste tribut dimensiunilor sale euro-asiatice.

                    10) Passat desi cu 3 luni de la lansarea noului model a avut un an mizerabil cu o scadere de 27% convingand in 2005 numai 49000 de americani... noul Passat nu a reusit sa convinga in ultimele luni ale anului mai mult decat a reusit anul trecut vechiul model.

                    Tot in scadere de peste 20% sunt si Kia Optima (41300buc), Mitsubishi Galant (34000) si Suzuki Verona ( numele sub care se comercializeaza in USA) Daewoo/Chevrolet Evanda/Epica cu numai 8000buc.

                    • DETROIT -- Honda Division swept the 2006 North American Car and Truck of the Year awards on Sunday, with honors going to the redesigned Civic small car and the unconventional Ridgeline truck.

                      The Civic beat out the Ford Fusion sedan and Pontiac Solstice roadster for the Car of the Year award. Jurors gave the Civic 244 points out of a possible maximum of 490 points.

                      For the Truck of the Year award, the Ridgeline won out over two redesigned SUVs, the Ford Explorer and Nissan Xterra. The Ridgeline received 296 points out of a possible 490.

                      The awards were handed out Sunday morning during the first press preview day of the North American International Auto Show.

                      This is the first year that the Honda Division has won the award. The Honda Element was a truck of the year finalist in 2003, and the Honda Insight hybrid was a car of the year finalist in 2001. Acura, the luxury division of Honda Motor Co., won a truck of the year award in 2001 for the Acura MDX SUV.

                      The redesigned Civic, launched last autumn, is slightly bigger and heavier than the model it replaces. Under the hood is a lineup of new four-cylinder engines, ranging from a 140-hp, 1.8-liter unit to a 197-hp, 2.0-liter engine used in the reborn Si performance trim level. Honda also offers the Civic with natural gas-fueled and hybrid powertrains. Civic sales fell 0.3 percent in 2005 to 308,415 units.

                      Honda developed the Ridgeline to compete in the important pickup segment in the United States, even though it didn't have a body-on-frame platform. So the automaker started with the underpinnings of its Honda Pilot/Acura MDX SUVs. The Ridgeline's bed can swallow sheets of plywood and the four-door cab has seating for five. But it's the little touches that have grabbed the most attention, such as the covered storage well built into the truck bed. But for all the attention, Ridgeline sales haven't met Honda's initial expectations. Honda sold 42,593 Ridgelines in 2005. Power comes from a 247-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 engine.

                      The three finalists in each category were the top vote getters from a field of 14 cars and 14 trucks that were all-new or significantly redesigned and launched in 2005. Votes were cast by a panel of 49 full-time automotive journalists. The jury panel includes Automotive News Executive Editor Edward Lapham and Senior Writer Dale Jewett.

                      Each juror has 25 points to divide among the car of the year candidates, and 25 points for the truck of the year candidates. In each category, only one vehicle can get the maximum award of 10 points.

                      One year ago, the Chrysler 300 was named North American Car of the Year, and the Ford Escape Hybrid was named North American Truck of the Year.

                        per total segmentul a fost in expansiune dar Honda si toyta sunt relativ in retragere datorita ofensivei viguroase in segment a GM, Hyundai si Ford.

                        liderul devine anul acesta in mod surprinzator GM ( inexistent practic in segment cu 3 ani in urma). GM dovedeste ca nu e chiar pe moarte. produsul este trio-ul Chevrolet Equinox/ Saturn Vue/ Pontiac Torrent care totalizeaza 232000buc (130000 Equinox, 10000 Torrent -lansat in toamna- si 92000 Vue) in crestere de 60% fata de cele de anul trecut ale Equinox/Vue. Toate sunt car-based construite pe platforma epsilon a GM -folosita in Europa de Vectra. Motorizarea la Torrent si Equinox este V6-le push-rod mediocru de 3.4l si 185CP al GM in timp ce Vue vine in mare majoritate echipat cu V6-le de 3.5l si 250CP furnizat de Honda. toate 3 sunt mai mari decat celelalte masini din clasa si la preturi sub 25000$. ofera deci mai mult spatiu interior si mai multa putere decat ofertele japoneze la preturi similare ( desi sunt mai greoaie si mai insetate :? ). Noul CR-V trebuie sa fie mai mare si sa aiba optiune V6 ori noul 2.3VTEC-turbo. Ceva similar botezat ca Opel si dotat cu un diesel nu ar fi rau nici in Europa.

                        2) Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner vin pe locul 2 cu 199100 buc vandute (+10%). dezavantajul principal este spatiul mai limitat desi motorizarile sunt mult mai reusite: 3.0l V6 de 200CP, 2.3l de 153CP si 2.3lHybrid. Ford produce si Tribute-ul Mazda care este quasi-identic. Daca am adauga si acest model la socoteala Ford ramane inca in frunte.

                        3) Jeep Liberty ( Cherokee in Europa) cu 186900buc. (+10%). singura oferta diesel din segment ( desi inca putin populara).

                        4) Honda CR-V cu 150000buc, stationar fata de anul precedent.

                        5) Toyota 4Runner 104000buc (-10%)

                        6) Hyundai Tucson/Kia Sportage 100000buc ( 61K +29k) - ambele un succes de piata in primul an de la lansare.

                        7) Nissan X-terra 72500 (+8%)

                        8 ) Subaru Forester 53500 (-8%) - cel mai manevrabil si sportiv model din clasa. Din pacate cumparatorii din acest segment nu par a fi foarte interesati de aceste aspecte.

                        9) Mazda Tribute 37000 (-10%)

                        10) Mitsubishi Outlander 12000 (-30%)

                          Honda to go after Aston with next NSX?

                          Honda has reportedly changed its plans for the successor to the Acura NSX supercar, according to Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport magazine. Instead of building a strictly race-oriented sports car, the Japanese automaker now plans to go after Aston Martin with a grand tourer. The all-wheel-drive car is expected to come with a V10 engine and all-wheel-drive. While we wouldn’t take the artists’ impression of the new NSX (shown right) too literally at this point, it does offer an idea of where things might be headed. An official launch is expected in fall 2007. AMS also said Honda is planning a small city car to compete with the BMW Mini and Suzuki Swift. Moreover, the magazine said Acura is planning to launch an Accord coupe in 2009 based on the Sports 4 Concept.

                            Although the TSX brings a modest horsepower increase to the game for 2006-205 versus 200—it's not the most potent player in the edge-of-luxury sports-sedan league. Acceleration nosebleed is not an issue here. But when it comes to the other virtues that distinguish the best from the also-rans—agility, comfort, quality construction, luxury features—the TSX has the field covered.

                            Based on Honda's European version of the Accord, the TSX is a little smaller than the U.S. Accord but much bigger than the old Integra sedan. It's also substantially more refined—smoother ride, quieter operation—without any real sacrifice in the sense of fun that distinguished its predecessor.

                            Power is delivered to the front wheels by a 2.4-liter DOHC 16-valve aluminum four with Honda's i-VTEC variable valve timing and lift system. Mated with a slick six-speed manual transmission, this engine delivers more than enough thrust to be entertaining, and it's as smooth as a dram of 25-year-old Dalwhinnie single malt. A five-speed automatic is available, if you must. But we recommend the sense of engagement that goes with the six-speed.

                              A3 a intrat si el in Top 10 al C&D fiind cel mai bun compact sport in primul an de la lansarea pe piata americana. :roll:

                              Accordul este probabil modelul cel mai prezent in top 10 al C&D. in 24 de ani a fost pe lista de 20 de ori.
