Fiat-ul face masini de calitatea I si calitatea II va spun sigur!!! Calitatea I le trimit in tari de genu Germania si calitatea II pleaca in tarile de est si vanzarile in Italia. Oricum din cate stiu o mare parte din masini sunt facute in India pe liniile de asamblare de la TATA.

Nici Albea nu este, am vazut unul singur dar cu numere romanesti. Probabil ca fac anumite modele doar pt diferite tari.

Ford a anuntat un nou motor pentru Mondeo – EcoBoost SCTi: 203 CP
Ford Mondeo si Kuga primesc cate un motor nou la Salonul Auto de la Geneva. Alaturi de propulsoarele noi, Ford prezinta si C-Max, Grand C-Max si diverse pachete de optionale pentru S-Max si Galaxy.
Americanii de la Ford vor echipa Mondeo cu un nou motor EcoBoost, in timp ce Kuga priemste un nou motor Duratorq. Astfel, Kuga primeste o unitate Duratorq TDCi de 2.0 litri si 163 CP, care este disponibila optional alaturi de o transmisie Powershift. Impreuna, cele doua unitati emit o cantitate mai scazut de CO2 per kilometru. Ford Mondeo primeste un motor de 2.0 litri din gama EcoBoost, care ofera 203 CP.
Unitatea Duratorq de 163 CP va fi disponibila si in gama Mondeo, alaturi de actualele TDCi-uri de 115 si 140 CP. Transmisia Powershift cu dubluambreiaj este disponibila atat pentru modelele echipate cu motoare Duratorq, cat si pentru modele echipate cu unitati EcoBoost. Noua gama de motoare EcoBoost de la Ford face parte din strategia de downsizing a producatorului american si beneficiaza de numeroase avantaje tehnologice, printre care injectia directa, care ajuta la obtinerea normei de mediu Euro 5.
Noile motoare pentru Ford Kuga si Mondeo vor debuta in standul producatorului american de automobile din cadrul Salonului Auto de la Geneva. Alaturi de Kuga si Mondeo, Ford va preeinta si noile C-Max si Grand C-Max, precum si pachete de optionale pentru S-Max si Galaxy.

FPT to showcase 2-cylinder turbo at Geneva
Fiat’s powertrain division FPT will be introducing its two-cylinder engine at Geneva early next month. At first I thought FPT was the first to bring back the two-cylinder engine back to cars in this modern times but then I remembered that Tata did it first with the 35 horsepower Bosch-powered 2-cylinder 624cc engine in the Nano.
The TWIN-AIR 2-cylinder engine will produce 85 horsepower via turbocharging, and it is part of a new range of small engines producing from 65 horsepower to 105 horsepower. The engine’s CO2 emissions are rated at 95g/km. At Geneva, it will be installed in a Fiat 500, and a production 500 with this engine will be launched in ‘next July’ (does this mean July 2010 or 2011?). It consumes 15% less fuel and has 25% more power than an 8 valve 1.2 liter, while comparisons with a 16 valve 1.4 liter shows a savings of 30% and the same performance.
In terms of installation space, the engine is 23% shorter and 10% lighter. Fiat says because of its small size, the engine is very suitable to be coupled with a motor-assist or mild hybrid type of electric motor positioned between the engine and the transmission. This way the motor will be able to further improve economy via harvesting wasted energy through brake energy regeneration and using the same energy to help the TWIN-AIR engine through electric motor assist.

Propulsorul pe benzina dublu supraalimentat de 1.4 litri care livreaza 180 de cai putere. Motorul a fost cuplat la o transmisie automata DSG cu sapte trepte si dublu ambreiaj.
