Dar e placut de vazut ca numele Dacia a ajuns si peste ocean , chiar daca doar in America , ca in Japonia nu stia ce ce se mananca :)

In rest, foarte interesant articolul. Cred ca un diesel V6 ar fi binevenit.
Daca aici putem scrie si opiniile pers. apropo de ce ar mai trebui, la capitolul motorizari diesel ar fi mai mult decat indicat dezvoltarea unor propulsoare diesel de clindree mica si medie. de ex. un 1,4 si/sau 1,6, dar si un 2,0.

Asta-mi place mie la Honda, ca nu intra in hora asta a masinilor ieftine si bune de aruncat la gunoi. Sa incerci sa reduci costurile si, in acelasi timp, sa pastrezi calitatea la nivel inalt, asta chiar e o provocare. Oricine poate face masini proaste si ieftine.

Mie mi se pare mai usor sa faci masini scumpe ( si eventual proaste :) )
decat masini ieftine , care sa si mearga. Nu zic ca mi-as cumpara Logan , dar il consider o realizare sa reusesti sa faci la aprox 6000 euro cu toate taxele o masina functionala.
Cryo, vezi postul de mai sus al lui Hondatu, s-a si discutat in continuare pe tema asta. :wink:

chiar in interviul de mai sus din Autoweek Fukui a zis ca la masini din clasa Civic si mai mici el vede hibridul mai eficient decat dieselul. si inclin sa-i dau dreptate, desi in Europa este clar ca lumea crede mai mult in diesele.
vom avea probabil mai intai un diesel V6 Honda destinat masinilor mai grele ( si pe cale de consecinta mai mult pietei americane) si daca piata masinilor mici din asia trece pe diesel poate si un diesel de 1.6. un diesel de 2.0l ( sau putin sub) ar fi usor de scos numai din modificare usoara a 2.2. e nevoie si de un update al sistemelor de injctie pe actualul motor de 2.2 care cred ca se va intampla chiar in 2007 - spre 170-180CP.

Insa, desi hibridele vor fi o solutie, o etapa viitoare (depinde si ce fel de hibride, asta pt a determina impactul si dimensiunile etapei), in Europa va fi o adevarata provocare problema infrastucturii unui asemenea sistem. Asta lasand deoparte cutume/preferinte/etc.
Chiar si dupa ce se va determina care anume va fi solutia hibrida optima, va dura ceva pana se vor pune la pct detaliile de infrastuctura, logistica, si schimbare mentalitatilor/perspectivelor. Toate astea vor insemna ani buni, iar daca consideram varianta in care se vor adopta mai multe solutii succesive, de durata medie, intervalul de timp general va fi si mai mare.
Cert este faptul ca noi consumam mai mult si mai repede, iar resursele se tot imputineaza.

Ca are de a face cu mentalitatea, o stiim si o vedem la noi europenii, dar la faza cu infrastructura eu as zice ca orase aglomerate avem destule in Europa, deci ar fi oportunitati destule, ce anume ar trebui sa se mai creeze? Autostrazi ca-n SUA sau ce?
Cand am spus infrastructura ma refeream la toate cele necesare pt reteau de productie, distributie, etc.
Sa luam ca ex potentiala solutie de hibrid benzen + electric. Lasand la o parte ca energia electrica nu este chiar in exces in Europa, avem problema alimentarii bateriilor electrice. Chestiune (incarcarea bateriilor) care trebuie sa fie posibila si-n alte locatii decat clasicele benzinarii, dat fiind ca operatiunea de incarcare va necesita mai mult timp decat umplerea rezervorului. Astfel ca acea retea cu prizele aferente trebuie sa fie disponibila si acasa si in parcarea de la firma/mall/etc.
La astfel de chestiuni si aspecte de infrastuctura ma refeream eu, care vor trebui dezvoltate de fiecare tara, regiune, localitate in parte.
Totusi un Civic sau Accord Hybrid nu au nevoie de asa ceva, totul se alimenteaza in timpul mersului.
Eu cred ca tu te referi la alte mijloace de propulsie (pilula de combustie and co.?)!

trebuie sa clarificam ce este un hibrid... nu este o masina pe care o bagi in priza ( ambele companii considera insa introducerea unui sistem care sa permita incarcarea acumulatorilor hibrizilor la priza dar in prezent niciuna dintre ele nu au aceasta posibilitate).
masinile hibrid recupereaza o parte din energia de franare pe care o stocheaza in acumulatori si o folosesc la nevoie ca sa suplementeze puterea motorului. singura infrastructura necesara ar fi cea de reciclare a acumulatorilor. In America Toyota si Honda ofera insa acest serviciu prin dealerii lor ceea ce se poate face usor si in Europa.
motorul hibrizilor este de regula un pic detunat si cu rapoarte mai mari de compresie ca sa fie cat mai eficient.
Civic Hybrid are un motor de 1.3l de 93CP cu rap de compresie de 10.8:1 si, montat in serie (in locul volantei), un motor electric de 20CP dar aprox 250Nm ( disponibili de la 0 rpm - avantajul motorului electric care are acelasi cuplu pe toata plaja de turatie) ajungand la aprox. 110CP combinat. din motive care tin de functionarea motorului electric la turatii mari putrea maxima nu se aduna perfect.
Prius are un motor de 1.5l cu rap. de compresie 1:13 de 76CP si in paralel un motor electric de 67CP si vreo 400Nm. cele 2 motoare se intalnesc in cutia de viteze de tip planetara si sistemul are o electronica destul de sofisticata. in final Prius are tot vreo 110CP putere maxima disponibila dar are avantajul unui cuplu maxim mai bun fiind mai rapid decat Civic hybrid - 0-100km/h in 10.7-11sec fata de Civic hybrid care este pe la 11.5-11.7sec.
sistemul Toyota este mai sofisticat si in final mai economic ( consum combinat in jur de 4.5-5l% la prius fata de 6l% Civic). Civicul este oleaca mai usor ( cu vreo 50kile) si mai manevrabil.
hibrizii nu sunt mai eficienti decat dieselul la drum intins - ambele de mai sus scot aprox. 4.5-5l% la 100-120km/h la fel cu un diesel de putere similara pe o masina de marime similara. in schimb hibrizii se detaseaza net de diesele la consumul urban. de fapt cu cat un trafic are mai multe opriri si porniri cu atat mai multe ocazii pentru hibrizi sa recupereze din energia de franare - care la masinile non-hibrizi se risipeste prin incalzirea franelor.
Potentiala solutie exemplificata de mine (nu prea clar insa) se referea la un alt tip de hibrizii decat cei actuali, evident mai mult o speculatie, si anume realizarea unei solutii electrice care sa permita mai mult decat recuperarea energiei din franare,..... ci si incarcarea si stocarea acesteia. Desigur folosind o alta generatie de baterii decat cele actuale, capacitate mai crescuta, anduranta in timp mai mare, costuri mai reduse, etc.
Eu unul, fara a fi de specialitate, in ceea ce priveste viitorul automobilului as miza pe motorul electric, cu etapa intermediara benzen + electric, care ar fi insa o solutie mai avansata decat cea disponibila acum.
Ma sa stii ca tu esti o minte luminata, in locul tau n-as mai sta o clipa pe ganduri si mi-as depune CVul la Honda R&D (sau Toyota?)! Cu tine garantat vor da si astia mai in fatza! :wink:

Daca se pune in practica ideea , o sa fie aceasi poveste care este acum cu noul CTR , unii o sa critice , altii o sa vada oportunitati crescute de vanzare.
Eu personal sunt pentru aceste schimbari , daca vreau curse ma duc la Karting , pe sosea vreau sport dar vreau si confort cand am de gand sa conduc linistit.
Cam cel mai potrivit loc de pe forum, chiar daca nu e Presa si nici articol si totusi e ceva interesant mai ales pentru cei ce cumparaturile cu cardul nu sunt o problema:

Honda Recalls 81,000 Accord Sedans
Honda Motor Co. is recalling 81,000 2004-2005 Accord sedans because of issues that could cause an air bag-related sensor to fail, the company said Wednesday.
Honda (nyse: HMC - news - people ) said in a Jan. 9 letter to the government that the wiring harness for the seat position sensor, which detects the driver's seating position and adjusts the air bag inflation pressure accordingly, was attached in the wrong location and may have been overtightened.
Honda said the sensor wire could break and cause the air bag warning light to be illuminated and prevent the sensor from working properly. When the sensor fails, the air bag system automatically moves to full inflation pressure, which could increase the risk of injury for smaller drivers in a frontal crash, the Japanese automaker said.
Honda spokesman Chris Naughton said the company was not aware of any injuries or incidents connected to the recall.
The recall is expected to begin in early February, and dealers will replace the seat position sensor wiring subharness, Honda said.
Owners can contact Honda at (800) 999-1009.

Global production records in 2006 for Toyota, Honda
TOKYO (AFP) - Toyota Motor Corp and Honda Motors have said that their global production hit records last year thanks to robust sales in North America while Nissan Motor and Mitsubishi Motors slipped.
Japan's top automaker Toyota announced a 9.5 percent increase in global production to 9.018 million vehicles, the 15th straight annual increase, although it fell below December forecasts of 9.05 million.
Toyota, on the path to snatch the crown this year from General Motors as the world's number one automaker, increased production in Japan for a fifth consecutive year at 10.3 percent. Overseas production went up 8.6 percent.
The pioneer of hybrid cars last month forecast production of 9.42 million autos in 2007 amid strong demand from the United States.
Honda Motors, Japan's number-three automaker, also reported an all-time high of 2.728 million vehicles produced in 2006, up 7.5 percent for a 10th consecutive annual rise.
Honda increased production by 30 percent in China and 9.8 percent in Japan. Production growth in the US was milder at 1.6 percent while in Europe production dropped 3.9 percent, the company said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Japan's number two automaker Nissan Notor said its global production dropped 7.7 percent to 3.238 million units in 2006 as its market share eroded at home and it launched few new models overseas.
Nissan, which is owned 44 percent by France's Renault, saw domestic production tumble 14.9 percent. It reported a drop of 2.6 percent overseas.
Mitsubishi Motors, which ranks number four among Japan's automakers and is the only one in the red, also reported a decline in production for 2006, of 3.6 percent to 1.313 million vehicles.
However, smaller-scale Mazda Motor announced a 12.1 percent increase to 1.285 million units, with overseas production reaching a record high and domestic output at its highest since 1994.

Honda to Recall Elysion Minivans
Honda Motor Co. will recall 72,597 Elysion minivans over a defective lock on its sliding doors, Japan's transport ministry announced.
Japan's No. 2 automaker said it had received 27 complaints about the locking mechanism defect in the minivans, but no reported accidents, according to documents filed Thursday with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The company plans to replace the defective locks, the ministry said.
It was not immediately clear if any of the minivans had been sold overseas.

Honda a mai oferit pana la sfarsitul aniilor ´90 asa ceva si la noi in EU, apoi pentru vreo 5-6ani a fost scoasa din program,iar conform oficialilor, tocmai din cauza faptului ca nu a fost cerere pentru asa ceva, dar incepand cu 2006 exista iarasi, cel putin in Germania si sunt sigur ca si in alte tari vestice.
In germana ii spune "Mobilitätsgarantie" si dupa cum spune si textul de mai sus, e vorba de o extindere partiala a garantiei de 3ani (incheiata la dealer si nu direct cu Honda), totul se calculeaza dupa niste date fixe precum varsta masinii, km parcursi, putere, etc.
Spre ex. la a mea o calculasem acum vreo 6 luni si la 35.oookm parcursi si o vechime de 2ani, ar fi costat 270€ pentru o perioada de 2ani.
Am renuntat fiindca experienta mi-a dovedit ca nu am nevoie de asa ceva.
Cert e ca pana anul trecut, in toata perioada aceea cat nu s-a oferit asa ceva, Honda a fost cam printre ultimii constructori ce nu o ofereau si si-au auzit multe critici.......dar presa europeana e obisnuita cu alt tip de rasnite care daca s-ar putea, ar trebui asigurate ca un Rolls..

Japan Automakers' Global Production Up
Toyota Motor Corp. and three other Japanese automakers reported an increase in global production in April, but Mazda Motor Corp. posted a decline.

(nyse: GM - news - people )'s spot as the world's largest automaker, said its worldwide production totaled 667,273 vehicles in April, up 4.2 percent from the year before on strong demand for its Camry, Lexus and hybrid cars like the Prius.
Toyota's production in Japan slipped 4.2 percent to 327,552 units for a second straight monthly decline due to a sluggish market, but its overseas production jumped 13.8 percent to 339,721 vehicles.
Honda Motor Co. (nyse: HMC - news - people ), Japan's second-largest car maker by sales volume, said global production surged 7.6 percent to 310,391 vehicles for the 21st straight month of rise in April and a record for the month.
Domestic production rose 7.4 percent to 110,718 vehicles in April, marking a 12th consecutive month of gains, while overseas output saw a 7.7 percent rise to 199,673 vehicles due to increased production in North America and Europe and a record for an April.
At Nissan Motor Co. (nasdaq: NSANY - news - people ), 44 percent owned by Renault (other-otc: RNSDF.PK - news - people ) SA of France, global production climbed 4.6 percent to 239,592 vehicles, with an increased worldwide output offsetting a decline in the smaller domestic market. Overseas production by Nissan surged 20.3 percent to 170,128 units, while domestic output dropped 20.6 percent to 69,464 units.
Mitsubishi Motors (other-otc: MMTOF.PK - news - people ) Corp. reported a 8.2 percent jump in global production to 104,981 vehicles. Domestic production came in at 59,422 vehicles, up 5.4 percent, for a seventh straight month of growth on year.
Overseas production grew 11.9 percent to 45,559 vehicles thanks to an increased output in Europe and the rest of Asia, although production in North America fell 15.3 percent to 5,187 units.
At Mazda Motor Corp., an affiliate of Ford Motor Co. (nyse: F - news - people ), global production fell 13.0 percent to 91,533 vehicles. Domestic production dropped 5.8 percent to 72,073 vehicles - the third straight month of decline.

Honda exec sees 3 percent rise in 2007 U.S. sales
DETROIT (Reuters) - Honda Motor Co Ltd (7267.T) (HMC.N) is on track for a 3 percent increase in U.S. sales in 2007, an executive said on Friday, but he also called on the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates to boost consumer confidence.
John Mendel, senior vice president of U.S. auto operations at Honda, told reporters the Japanese automaker would benefit from new products such as the upcoming Accord sedan despite concerns about the housing market and the subprime mortgage crisis.
Still, Mendel said he agreed with experts calling on the Fed to cut interest rates.
"In light of the current monetary situation, the policy needs to mirror where we want to go," Mendel said ahead of an event that would introduce the press to Acura's full line of products.
"If cutting the rates is what needs to be done ... for a soft landing, not just for the (auto) industry but for consumer confidence, then the Fed needs to do what it needs to do," he said.
Mike Jackson, chief executive of the largest U.S. dealership chain, AutoNation Inc (AN.N), earlier this week said the U.S. economy was in danger of slipping into a recession unless the Fed moved aggressively to cut interest rates. He also said the pressure on the economy was hurting auto sales.
LUXURY WEAKENS
Mendel said sales of luxury vehicles in the U.S. market -- Honda's largest -- had softened in August, citing the meltdown in the subprime mortgage market.
"The initial dealer pulse from across the industry ... is that luxury is a little bit soft," Mendel said, referring to Acura's August sales.
"If I yell fire, even though it's not my house, I already smell smoke. I think people tend to tuck in a little bit and wait and see."
Mendel also said he expects U.S. industrywide sales of about 16 million vehicles in 2007. Acura's product planning manager, John Watts, said Honda's official estimate is 16.3 million units.
Honda's U.S. sales fell 3.2 percent in July, but were up about 1 percent year for the year through July.
When asked if Honda would be interested in buying Ford Motor Co's (F.N) Jaguar and Volvo luxury brands, which Ford has said it might sell, Mendel said Honda would continue to grow organically and is not interested in buying other brands.
The industry has many "undigested acquisitions and that's not where we want to go," Mendel said.
He said Honda is now focused on separating its Honda and Acura brands in design, technology and engineering. Current Acura models share designs with Honda models.
"I think you will see a very different Acura in the next three to four years," he said, declining to add further details.

din cate vad nemtii prefera civic (ma mira insa ca vinde aproape cat renault megane care insa e in cadere libera), jazz, crv si frv. Vad ca nu prea cumpara accorduri, legenduri (foarte pacat o masina superba, e una din masinile pe care mi le-as dori in garajul personal), s2000.
Accord.ul n-a prins tare niciodata in Germania, acum ca e "invechit" nici atat si daca ne gandim ca noul a fost deja prezentat e clar ca cine l-ar fi vrut, mai astepta ceva.
Iar Legend nici atat, explicatia e cam logica, ma mir ca nu ti-a picat tocmai tie!
Au existat destul teste comparative unde concurenta nemteasca si-o lua pe coaja, dar daca premiumul e tradat la el acasa, atunci in alta parte ce mai e?

Honda May Lift Output In China
Facing slowing sales in the United States, a stronger yen and rising material costs, Honda may seek a boost by expanding in one of the few countries with consistently strong growth prospects.
Honda is reportedly planning to boost its production capacity in China by about 20% to 650,000 vehicles annually to grab a larger share of the Chinese market.
Honda is producing about 530,000 vehicles a year through two Chinese joint ventures, Guangzhou Honda Automobile and Dongfeng Honda Automobile. Japan's second-largest carmaker will invest some 10 billion yen ($95.8 million) to add production lines at a Dongfeng Honda factory so as to double its capacity to 240,000 units as early as this year, the Nikkei business daily reported Thursday.
Honda, which currently has three sales networks with a total of 560 dealers across China, also plans to add another 140 dealerships by the end of this year and hopes to sell roughly 490,000 vehicles in China in 2008, up 15% from 2007, the Japanese paper said.
The car maker intends to increase the number of stores selling the Acura luxury brand from eight to 20, the Nikkei said.
Honda reported last month that it produced 3,955,483 vehicles in the fiscal year ended in March, its 11th consecutive year of record production. The carmaker sold 2,658,801 cars overseas in fiscal 2008, up 12.3% from 2007. However, sales in Japan declined 7%, the sixth straight year-on-year decrease .
Honda warned that business in the 12 months through March 2009 would be weak due to a stronger yen, rising materials costs and a soft U.S. car market.

Honda’s hot hatch, Civic Type R has won the 2008 Wheels Automotive Design Award and Best Interior category.
The Civic Type R, with its futuristic looks and exceptional performance impressed the judges, receiving the highest marks for design innovation.
Wheels judges said “…there’s no denying the Honda hot hatch has a style all its own…” while judge Sally Dominguez from the ABC’s New Inventors said “brilliant and thorough realisation of original concept car. No compromise in execution. Fine, jewel-like detailing.”
Wheels Editor, Ged Bulmer added; “The Civic Type R made a strong impression on our judges at Wheels car of the Year in 2007, so it’s no surprise to see it again prominent in the Wheels Automotive Design Awards. What’s impressive about the Type R from a design perspective is the manner in which the cars overtly sporty and somewhat futuristic design cues are carried over from interior to exterior. All too often we see cars dripping in exterior aggression via wings, body kits and the like, but inside they betray their humble sedan or hatch origins. The Type R is an exception in that from every angle, inside and out, its design clearly signals its intent as a high performance machine. It has a purity of design and a single-mindedness of purpose that is extremely admirable.”
The Civic Type R beat a variety of competitors; the Audi R8, S5 and TT; the Holden VE Ute; the Renault Scenic; the Saab 9-3 Cabrio; the Volvo C30; and VW Eos.
In conjunction with the Australian International Design Awards (AIDA), this award recognises interior and exterior excellence as well as the overall design of the vehicle. The awards are open to all cars on the Australian market.
There are sixteen different assessment criteria, including innovation, visual impact and form as well as detail design.
